Modern Boho Styled Shoot - Kentucky Bride Magazine

Last year after a visit to the gorge I knew I wanted to create an entire styled wedding at the gorge to highlight the beauty of one of Kentucky’s greatest nature spots. I’d just recently moved to Kentucky but I’d met a few local vendors including Lindsey from White Oak Design Co. at a local Networking Event so I reached out to her and she loved the idea! We instantly got to planning and dreaming. So much pinteresting as we tried to develop a truly unique idea for a styled wedding. We wanted to create a wedding look that was modern with a boho feel, we knew we wanted gorgeous eccentric flowers which meant Wild Root Farmer Florist was a must! We wanted geometrical designs, copper accents and groom with a man bun. Why? I’m not too sure but we had all these ideas so we just ran with it and created something so uniquely beautiful. At the last minute our original venue cancelled on us so we called Liz from Hemlock Springs and they happened to have an opening for us, they let us use their venue and it was honestly more than we could have ever dreamed of and more!

We had the honor of having this gorgeous shoot published in Kentucky Bride Magazine and it is still one of my favorite shoots to date. There is nothing like creating something from the beginning, watching an idea you had that started off as nothing and became a work of art.
